Heritage Alliance Project (HAP) was formerly organized in 2023 by six individuals passionate about preserving the long , rich history of East Depot and surrounding streets.The founding members: Sharon Anderson, Alice Brown, Eddie Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Tamela Tatum, and Priscilla Williams, spent a year learning how to create and operate a not – for – profit organization.

HAP’s mission is to collaborate with various entities to facilitate the preservation of history and advocate for beautification and safety in the East Depot/Mill Street community. The organization’s purpose is to honor the past, address the present, and embrace the future. In addition to E.Depot and Mill Street, HAP’s service area includes Pine,Neely,Railroad, Williams, Foster, and Ken Dwiggins.

HAP welcomes collaboration with individuals or organizations having similar interests in its service area.
